History:
Anastasia ran for her life after watching the love of her life be shot and thrown into a raging river along the Ukrainian and Russian border. Their new born daughter in her arms, Anastasia had one thought in her mind, to get their daughter to safety before her own sure death. She ended up in Chicago, Illinois, USA, outside of a fire/ambulance department. With her heart shuttering in a billion pieces, she ran away without a backwards glance ans when she was a few blocks away from their now safe daughter, she was murdered and thrown into the river.
Found in the middle of a winter storm outside of a fire/ambulance station in Chicago, barely alive and half frozen to death, it was a medical marical that baby Jane Doe survived the night. Three weeks later, under ICU, baby Jane Doe left the hospital and went into an orphanage while the police hunted down her parents location. Months went by with no results, so, the state place baby Jane Doe up for adoption.
Baby Jane Doe was adopted on Valentine's Day, by a lovely middle aged couple, The Ruise's, who were struggling to have a baby of their own. They named her Jazeera. Jazeera grew up knowing full well that she was adopted, her life history, but for the life of everyone, no one could tell her who her biological parents were. For the most part, Jazeera put her adoption behind her and focused on living her life to the fullest.
She studied hard at school, got average grades and hung out with her friends. When her adopted mother hit her fifties, early onset dementia hit her. Jazeera was the first to notice, and it took some time for her to convince her adopted father of it. Her mother ended up in a home dedicated to people with dementia while her father through his life into work as a coping mechanism.
At age sixteen, Jazeera became the home's point of contact for her mother and soon after that, her father's work reported him missing. She was in a nightmare. Trying to hold on strong for her fading mother. Jazeera tried to steer her mother away from essential topics of her husband, like where he was.
Some months later, her mother died due to a home invasion at her now permanent residence. Saddened and lonely, Jazeera moved out to Las Vegas to her Aunt's place and has been there ever since, while keeping in contact with the Chicago PD for updates on her missing father.

Believed to be human before their transition, most grow up knowing what to expect from their transition. Because her mother died soon after her birth, Jazeera grew up not know about her true identity

They start going through changes between the ages of 25 - 30 yrs of age. When they reach 30, they no longer go through power levels. The only way they can become even more powerful after 30 is from absorbing powers from killing those more powerful than you.

Jazeera is a rare, one of a kind breed. She is unknown to her extended family at this point and has absolutely no idea what is in stall for her.
